Hi, I am from Peru and i want to apply for the visitor visa bia online. Sadly, I have a dilema because of the translation of documents, especially the documents that are for financial support such as bank statements. In the official page of the Government of Canada, it states that "all supporting documents must be in English or French" and that they will need to be translated by a certified translator and with a affidavit. However, when I asked for information in the Centro de Solicitud de Visas de Canadá (VFS Global), they said to me that the documents only needed a simple translation.
I dont know what to do because I can translate the documents easily but I dont want my application to be rejected.
