Can someone guve me the lowdown on this. I called a couple of translation offices and they assure me an affidavite and certified true copy is not required. Im so confused.

If they are certified translators they do not have to supply an affidavit.

Hi,
I have submitted two translation for my application.
1. Is translated by the high cour advocate/notary who himself does the translation, with a 'certified to be true translation of...' stamp and is also notarised by himself.

2. Is translated by someone not certified, however has the translators stamp and is notarised with 'certified to be true translation of...' stamp.

Will this be ok?

If the translator is not a member of a Canadian/provincial translator's association, then you need to provide a translator 's affidavit.
