Hello everybody,

This is my question: can the necessary documents (certificates, degrees, etc...) be certified and/or translated in a country that is not your home country? I'll be in Canada for a while and I was thinking to have my stuff translated there.

From the the instruction guide it seems to be possible, but I would prefer to play safe....

What do you think about it? Any suggestion is welcomed,

thanks in advance,

G.

If you're in Ontario contact "The Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO)":

http://www.atio.on.ca/

or call +16132412846

They should be able to guide you.

aghijan,

thanks for your advise.

I'll be in Toronto so, once there, I'll give them a call.

What I must add is that you can contact your own embassy. They must be able to translate your documents. The Canadian body you send the documents to will accept the translation. I have gone through a lengthy, painful, and costly process for evaluating my certificates. Believe me, it's a pain in neck. LOL
