Does anyone have information on how long it might take to process a transit visa? I have a Colombian passport (with a valid us non immigrant visa)
And what’s the ideal amount to have for transit? I didn’t state a big amount as my stays are less than 12 hours and most of my money I have in euro (for my final destination)

I would apply at least 3-4 months before you plan to travel.

You should show the amount you have for your final destination. IRCC knows you aren't going to spend that money in Canada but generally wants to make sure you have the funds to pay for the trip you're taking.
