Does an Indian citizen require transit visa to fly to canada via the countries/city below?

Germany
United Kingdon
United States

Montreal (The reason I ask is Quebec is slightly different in everything they do). I am on open work permit and was wondering if there is an issue if Montreal is the first city to land in Canada before being connected to the final destination.

Please advise!

Sir

If you are only using Airport to change flight , then there is no requirement , as you are only using Airport. If you want to exit from Airport then Visa is required.

Talk to your Travel Agent , he is the best guide , as landing policies change very quickly

Kind Regards

Germany & UK no need for the visa if you are transiting in the airports only.

US, definitely you need a visa even if you are transiting only!

The travel agent is asking me to find this information and I find that quite weird! :(

Thank you walmzd - very helpful.
Would you know if it is okay to land first in montreal although the final destination is another province? The work permit has to be provided at the airport where you land so am I right in thinking it will be at the montreal airport?

thanks again
