Transit Visa of Canada

I am Erfan from Yemen, holding Yemeni Passport. I need your help please, If I got a tourism visa from the Dominican Republic and entered the website of canada cic.gc.ca for getting the Transit Visa to travell through Canada, Did they will grant me the Transit visa??

I don't think any of us can answer that question. To be approved for a visa, you'll need to demonstrate that you are a genuine tourist. If CIC has concerns you might want to use the visa to remain in Canada long term, it may be refused. If you have a strong travel history with many trips to countries requiring visas, then chances are probably good you will be approved. If you don't have much of a travel history, chances are higher you'll be refused. Again, it's really impossible for any of us to answer your question with any certainty.

1. To add to scylla answer, it is unlikely that a transit visa would be issued, as there a lot of flights to the DR that don't transit Canada. Most transit US, Frankfurt or Spain.
