Hello folks,

I have U.S.A driver licence expired on dec. 2011. I believe its still transferable to get canadian driving licence until one year after last driving licence expiration. Is it true? can u pls let me know i really appreciate it.

Hmmm... there is no "USA" driver's license, or "Canadian" driver's license - drivers licenses are issued at the State/Provincial level : ) My point being, you'll have to look up the rules for the province you reside in...

i heard that you can change the US driver license into canadian one . just after 2years of it issued. well. i can be wrong as well. but..even the rules depend on state to state as well. i heard this about ontario dl.

I had a close call .. mine was getting expired in few days when I went for exchanging the license in ON and I remember the clerk telling us that we could have done it within 1 year of expiration.. so hope it works for you
