transferred to NY

received an email from Buffalo stating that my case has been transferred to NY.

any reason? anything different ?

This is usual. Buffalo transfers files to other visa offices in US to distribute the work load. Mine was also transferred to NY in April this year.

mine was also transferred to NYC 2 days ago..

in my experience, it was much faster than some people who applied at the same time and their applications stayed in Buffalo.
