How do i transfer medical records from the UK to Canada?
Do i have to ask for them or will my Doctor over there ask for them?
Its just my daughter has kidney problrms and is having tests and treatments and i need to know the best way to get them there so we can carry on.
Thanks guys :)

The doctor in canada can get you to sign a request to release records and send to her doctor in london who will in turn send all record to the requesting physcian. Typically records would be sent in a timely fashion but I would definately get hard copies of everything and bring to Canada to avoid delays in her treatment.

I would recommend if your Dr in the UK will give you her file, or a copy of her file, bring that with you...it would be much faster and a guarantee of getting the info to the new dr. I had to have files transferred between a Dr who moved to my family doc here and it was like 2 page report...and it took months...
