Transfer of Application

Hello all,
I am new to this great forum. These are the details of my application (federal skilled):
Received in Accra (Ghana) on oct 1 2007. I am presently living in the UK. When I sent the application, I have only spent 8 months in the UK. So, I could not send it to Canadian embassy in London because I need to have lived in the UK for 1 year to be able to do that. I sent it to canadian embassy in Ghana (it processes my country's applicaions). I am now more than 2 years in the UK. Can I request a transfer of my file from Canadian embassy in Ghana to Canadian embassy in London? Applications are faster in London office than accra. Besides, I hope to still be in the UK for some more years. It will not be easy for me (and family) to go to Ghana during processing of the application.

Pls can anybody help if it is possible to transfer your file from one office to another. Thanks in anticipation

1. Your first mistake was that you didn't have to reside in the UK for a year to submit to London, you only had to be ADMITTED for a year.
2. You write to Accra and request a file transfer, they will only transfer if "it enhances the integrity of the program" So they may or may not transfer.
