I wonder what percentage of the total number of apps is represented in their statistics. For example, In Buffalo theres something like 15 applications filed for December '08. I suspect that there were many more apps received during that month. If so, how representative can the numbers on Trackitt be?

Of course there are a lot more applicants from each country than what is on their database. I don't think anybody other than the CIC will be able to give us an exact or near to exact figures. Take my case for example, I am only registered but have not entered my case on it. ( I have my own reasons though and so would many others).

Interesting, may I ask what those reasons may be?

If I were to reveal those reasons here, then I might as well just put my case on there . Don't you think? (LOL)

NICE TRY!!!!

"YOU'LL" suggest? I think you're the one that should brush up on your english

Fair enough.
I'll do that, "Mr.Rude".

Good Luck to you.

If you want to get a feel for the real number of applicants. Look at how many people got PR in Canada through FSW in 2007 (for example) and look at how many indicated they got PR in 2007 and that ratio should give you a back of the envelope indication but as with most ratios of small numbers, it would be sensitive.

doohdoohhead and BobbyB, i have thoroughly enjoyed your childish and amusing interaction. LOL.

Calm down now.

Rupesh, where to get this information from ?

if you search on the net for canadian immigration statistics, there is a place that has the number of immigrants from different countries and how many got immigration that year etc.

As for the trackitt data, i dont know if there is a summary, or you could just look at approved, and sort them out by when they were approved and count lines.

guys.... check this.... http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/statistics/facts2007/index.asp

with a quarter of a million ppl taking Canadian immigration every year and over half of them being in FSW category, i think our sample size from trackitt for analysis becomes extremely small i.e. in the tune of 0.1% ... so, reliability goes down immensely, but yet we get a trend.

We should not consider the trackitt data as sacrosanct in terms of success percentages. But, we sure can get a vague indication on the expected processing time of various visa offices...

its only an indication of processing times until CIC update their website.
