Track Status changes and communication on updates for PR application

Hello Experts,

I am CEC inland applicant with AOR - Sept 27th, 2018, Med Passed - Oct 25th, 2018, RPRF request and Payment - Jan 24th, 2019 and current stage is IP2 but its more than 6 months I am in same stage IP2 without any significant updates. Also applied for GCMS notes on April 2nd, 2019 which will take sometime to come.

Through Web Form I got a response saying my application is being processed in Sydney, Nova Scotia and eligibility review is in progress and Security has not yet started. I also called CIC call center 2 times in last 15 days and seems I have same status for this entire time. CIC folks are letting me know that status is showing same but it might be case that officer is evaluating but not updating account. Can that really be the case? Is there a way we can speed up the processing of this application? Also, can we have any other communication channel apart from GCMS notes to get faster updates (GCMS takes 30-40 days to provide updates).

I heard that Sydney, Nova Scotia is one of the slowest CPC and because of this I am really worried now. Is it really one of the slowest? Is there a way file can be transferred to different CPC?

Unfortunately not, no. For all intents and purposes, the system is a privilege and whilst the wait is frustrating, CIC proceeds at their own pace.
