hi there..

i would like to know what is the procedure if i come to canada on tourist visa and is there any chance that i can extend the stay and change to work permit from border.
this is my situation. i have already employer there to hire me as a caregiver since the procedure is taking so much time employer told me that he will send invitation and i can come there on visit visa. is there any chance that i have after i enter right away he will apply for LMIA and then from the border can i change to work permit if i get positive LMIA?. i am from India.

please need your expert advise on theis :)

No - you can't. Live in caregiver work permits cannot be issued at the border. You will have to apply for the work permit through the New Delhi visa office.

A TRV is not a "while you get the work permit" kind of paper. If CIC sees that invitation letter they can perfectly assume you could be working illegally, and in fact why would you need to come to Canada if you can't work right away? That would be nonsense, therefore it will be rejected.
