Tourist Visa Processing time Exceeded

Hi Everyone,
My family and I applied for the tourist from Qatar, it is processing in Abu Dhabi.
Application submitted: March 25th
Biometrics: March 28th (63 days have passed since)

When we applied, processing time was around 60 days, now it's down to 34 if you check on the IRCC website. When can we expect to receive an answer ? our trip is approaching and i'm considering cancelling it now and ask for refunds from hotel/airline. Has anyone had a similar experience and do you advise me to wait or there's no hope o getting a response soon....

Processing times are an average so there is not much you can do but wait. No one can tell you when you will receive an answer. You are advised not to buy tickets for airfare.

Do you have any idea if on the approval email they send, they mention the starting date of the visa and its validity ? Or is that info available only once visa is added to passport ?

Only once the visa is added to the passport.
