Hi, I'm just wondering whether anyone have any idea about whether one will be more likely to get accepted over another, for an applicant who is of Chinese origin on US work permit, applying in the US.
The reason why I'm asking is because I'm a Canadian citizen working in the US and want to take my girlfriend back to Canada to (technically) visit my parents. However, I understand that it's going to be a non-trivial amount of work for "proof of relationship" as well as writing an invitation letter (who should write it? I'm no longer a Canadian resident). To avoid the headache and save some time (flight is in a month) I'm tempted to have my gf just apply as "tourist", since I believe last time (2 years ago) she applied as such and was granted a visa. Thoughts on my odds?
