Hello everyone,
Please help me with the following;

I have following work history:
Job A - NOC xxxx - 3 years
Job B - NOC yyyy - 8.2 years
Job C - NOC zzzz - 6 months
Job D - NOC 2136 - 15 months

I want to chose my Primary NOC as NOC 2136 which is my present job on-going. Although I have all documents for each job, reference letter for Job A, B and C will be impossible to get.

Question is; can I select "more than six years" while calculating the eligibility in EE profile with all my work experience (NOC xxxx+yyyy+zzzz+2136).
or
do I have to select work experience only as "one year" as per the Primary NOC(2136) that I want to chose?

Also, do I need a reference letter with my duties for all the above jobs, or only for the Primary NOC that I have chosen?

All help is much needed and much appreciated.

Thanks,
Faraz

For calculating FSW Point (67/100), you need to consider your work experience in only 1 NOC. Also, that work experience should be within last 10 years as well.

However, for calculating CRS Score, you can consider all your work experience in different NOCs, and will need to show reference letters for them as well if you are claiming points. Although, CRS points max out after 3 years of work experience.

Thanks for the quick response. I do get the second part of your reply.
But what about the FSW score and only 1 NOC, I do not follow I am sorry. What is the difference between FSW and CRS?

Assume you are applying outside Canada so the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) stream. To be eligibl, you need to have one year, continuous experience, which you have for Job D. However if you want to claim the other work experience & you get an invitation to apply, it is mandatory to have have employment letters for all experience you put in your profile. The employment letters must be signed on company letterhead with your work dates, duties and pay.

Thanks for your reply. Can I use Job B to calculate FSW score and Job D as my Primary NOC?
Thanks again,

I dont think that first part is correct. Where does it say so?

You must show that while working in your primary occupation, you performed the duties set out in the lead statement of the occupational description in the NOC. This includes all the essential duties and most of the main duties listed.

Your skilled work experience must be
  • in the same type of job (have the same NOC) as the job you want to use for your immigration application (called your primary occupation)
  • within the last 10 years
  • paid work (have been paid wages or earned commission—volunteer work or unpaid internships don’t count)
  • at least 1 year of continuous workor 1,560 hours total (30 hours per week)—you can meet this in a few different ways:
    • Full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • Equal amount in part-time: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • Full-time at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
