Hi Guys I just wanted to start this thread for GTA applicants because our timelines are looking a bit different from the rest so far!

Lets keep up and see how long it takes us

AOR: 10-Apr-15
e-Cas: 13-Apr-15

Does it usually take 2 months for application to go in process from date of application receipt?

it depends on which local office your application went to. in Toronto there are 3 offices St clair, scarborough and Mississauga.

So applicants from Toronto should Waite until they know their local office because they have different processing time

Samreen you mentioned in the other thread about your ATIP. What do you think it means about those due dates??

I am disappointed Toronto is so slow. I really thought they would speed things up. I am also quite irate at the call centre stone walling people and not even bothering to look at the file! That is NOT customer service

My personal theory is that the due date is a reminder to the officer who will be assigned my file in case it gets lost in the pile or is not looked at to be honest I am not sure the Oath section had a due date of 24th April 2015 assigned to it which made me hopeful maybe this week the file will go 'In Process' but the latest report shows nothing new in comparison to my March ATIP report so now I am not a 100 percent sure what the due date means.

Overall I am a tad bit disappointed but what else can one do I ordered ATIP today for May and can only hope some progress will be seen as it is the only way I can gauge what is going on with my app. Call Center has just been frustrating.

Any updates from GTA/Toronto applicants? Seems like BC processing is going very fast whereas in TO it's slower?? Would be great to hear that someone has gone "in process".

Nothing yet for me. I think it will take approx 2 to 3 months from AOR to get IP. This is my latest theory!

Hi Guys,

I finally was able to find out more about my application today when calling the call centre. It seems spring has cheered them up!

I asked where it was if it has left Sydney etc. He told me it is still in Sydney doing clearances then it will move to Mississauga and if they needed anything they will contact me.

That is my latest update!

Does anyone know what kind of clearances are done at which offices?? Its interesting to know!
