It would most likely help if you actually formed a concise question...

I am not the best authority to comment on which office is fast or smooth etc. That is up to a person's own perception. My office is Scarborough and it has been moving at a very good pace but that is my opinion others can differ based on their application status.

Below is a thread started by a member for downtown GTA applicants you can refer to that thread and talk with fellow downtown Toronto applicants for their take on things or you can also go to your month spreadsheet and see what is the status of applicants for downtown Toronto for your month to give you an idea, if no progress you can check spreadsheets for months before.

Muchu gracias.

Now folks !!!
Question ? St. Clair is a good/smooth/office ?compaired to the other offices ?

It is not a guarantee that where you exactly live in the GTA will determine which office your application will go to. For example, I live right downtown (near CN tower) and my office was Mississauga. I know other people living in the same area and their office was St. Clair or Scarborough. Someone living in Scarborough got sent to St. Clair. So no one really knows how this system works. My guess is that they will look at workload of the offices and if one is less busy, they will start to send applications there. Others have speculated that each office handles different "types" of applications. What these "types" are is anyone's guess.

So basically I'm trying to say, you really don't know for sure where you application will end up until CIC does it. It truly is a MYSTERY!

Historically, Mississauga is considered one of the best (fastest) in Canada. Their timelines can be very fast. And sometimes they give you the oath letter on the same day as the test if you pass the test and interview. That happened to me. I passed the test and interview and they gave me the oath letter right afterwards for the oath ceremony that a scheduled a week later. They really knew how to streamline things. Note that this was a year and a half ago. I'm not sure if Mississauga is still the fastest but at the time it certainly was.
