I'm just curious to know why those (who's applications were denied) were denied. If you care to share, please do?

Do you think they will deny a mother of four children to sponsor her husband to come to Canada? (the children are not biologically his) As the date gets closer for the approval, I find myself getting more and more nervous! I wish I'd hear something soon. This wait is torturous!

Spousal denials (on the basis of the relationship) are based on Section 4(1) of IRPR which classifies someone as not the spouse of a Canadian for immigration purposes because 1) the marriage is not genuine and 2) the purpose of the marriage is to gain some status under IRPA.

A German citizen is less likely to be thought to engage in a non-genuine marriage in order to gain status in Canada, because the countries share similar standards of living. As long as you substantiated the genesis and development of your relationship properly, I think there is very little for you to worry about, except where you're going to find closet space! :)
