How long after landing as a permanent resident can you invite a family member to come visit? Is a month after landing too soon and does this affect the power of the letter if it is coming from a recent immigrant?

Go for it! He's a PR. The questions they'll have are the same now or later - will she really go back. I would include a letter from you too.

Yes it is!!! Thank you, the thing is I would rather he use his documents instead of mine. So I want him to be the main person to invite her. I could add a letter but I dont want to send copies of my passport etc. If I add an additional letter, will I need to send those as well?

I don't think they will need all your info if you send in the letter (plus they have them already on file if they want to refer to them ). Good luck!
