Hey guys, already asked this once. But dint get enough response.

Has anyone left the job after working only a bit more than a month prior to receiving the physical PR card at hand?
Just wondering if there is any sort of pre-enquiry prior to sending us the physical PR card at hand ?

I dont want to do another winter at that job anymore and needs to know if i should still keep on doing that same job until i get the card. 3 of my friends dint have any enquiries at all. So, i am confused if i should just quit after 2 weeks or succumb to that common dreaded convention.

I don't encourage you to quit your job because winter is here, that is a fact of life in Canada, we have winters and most people continue to work. But if you have landed as a PR there is no requirement for you to be working for you to receive your PR card. You should remember though that your sponsor is responsible to repay any government benefits you receive for the 1st 3 years of living here.
