Hi All,

I sent my packet to FBI on 6th Oct and it reached on 14th Oct.
I have everything ready now to jump into the pool. My only worry is if I enter the pool now and
get the ITA in next round immediately, then I might not have the FBI clearance in my hand to submit within next 2 months.

Do u think I should still apply now or wait for a few days and then jump into the pool ?

On 13th Dec my IELTS exam also turns one year old ! So I will need to apply at least before 13th Dec.

Pls suggest.

Thanks a lot

How many points do you have?

You can always decline an ITA if you don't feel ready to apply.

While EE is open for you to join in anytime you want but it's upto you to co-ordinate with your FBI PCC and decide if you would like to jump into the pool right now or later depending what CRS you achieve (since you did not mention anything about it). As the time of your getting the ITA depends on that. Also you may decline your ITA if you want to and don't feel ready for it.

As for IELTS there is no rule that says you need to be in the pool before one year of results. IELTS results are officially valid for two years from the date of release of the results.

Thanks Scylla

My score is 458. And I saw some rounds concluded at 450 already.
Has anybody declined their ITA and then got an ITA again ?
Will my profile be just returned to the pool if I declined the ITA ? or I have to create a new profile again ?

Thanks again..

If you decline, your profile is reactivated and entered into the pool again so you don't have to create another profile. Multiple members have declined their ITAs and received an ITA in the subsequent draws.

Thanks CanadaWecome,

My CRS score is 458.

The rule for IELTS is mentioned under the language testing rules. (Links are not allowed to be posted)
"The profile is valid for 12 months. You should make sure that your language test results are valid for at least the same number of days."

So if I decline ITA, will I be able to stay in the pool ? or I need a new profile again ?
If a new profile is needed then my IELTS score will not be valid anymore.

Thanks..

Thanks Asivad..much appreciated. I will still wait for another 2 weeks to see if my credit card gets charged from
FBI or not. In any case I will jump into the pool in 2 weeks then.

Thanks again !
