To apply for another country's citizenship/passport while waiting for PNP

Hello,

I have applied under the PNP and my application in the process of reviewing. I have a very specific question so was wondering if any of you could give some suggestions and/or answer my question.

I have applied for the PNP using my current passport.

My question is that:

If I apply for the second citizenship of that country does the CIC or PNP will revoke/annul my application. I qualified as a highly qualified person.


Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

I have applied under the AINP and my application in the process of reviewing. I have a very specific question so was wondering if any of you could give some suggestions and/or answer my question.

I have applied for the AINP using my current passport; however, I also would like to apply for another country's citizenship while waiting for my nomination. I lived and studied in another country and qualified as a highly qualified person so can apply for that country's passport and become a citizenship. At the end, I will be ended up having two passports or become citizen's of two countries if I apply and get my second passport/citizenship. The thing is that when I applied for the AINP, I used my current passport i.e. the country passport where I was born and lived my entire of my life. I am currently holding only one passport i.e. passport from my home/birth country.

My question is that:

If I apply for the second citizenship of that country does the CIC or PNP will revoke/annul my application for the AINP or it will not affect on my nomination process? When I looked up the process time of getting a second citizenship i.e. passport was 6 months so if I apply for the second passport/citizenship then the probability of becoming a citizen within 6 months. I qualified as a highly qualified person.
