Hello!
I have a quick question:
Situation:
May have to go work in US. Want to bring partner
Both canadian. Currently common law. I would be getting a TN visa. So ideally we could get married quickly and get her a TD visa.
My question is:
If we got married before I left could my spouse wait in canada for the marriage certificate and then enter the US and apply at port of entry without me for a TD (as long as she had all other necessary documents)?
Is there any other form of proof that border agents will accept other than the marriage certificate? (I hear it takes a while to get)
Really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!
