So far I know of these tips to make go faster:

-Ensure application is complete, with no missing documents, has plenty of photos, evidence proof of relationship, etc
-apply from outside of Canada
-get an up-front medical exam
-submit forms as soon as wedding is finished

Do you guys have any other tips that may help speed up the process? Any thing I should do regarding my sponsorship application before, during, and after wedding? What did you guys do personally to speed up the process and prevent delays?

Double then triple-check that you have the most up-to-date forms.

-Pay the full fee of $1040 up front
-Ensure that you get your background check(s) done before submitting the application
-Make sure everything is organized in a way that is obvious and makes sense
-Don't overwhelm them with evidence. While you need to send 'enough', what 'enough' is varies situation to situation. If you were going to send all of your phone bills, and that's 600 pages, think of it this way: Do you want the VO to have to read 600 pages of phone bills? If so, send all them them. If you're intending for the VO to skim them, then just send less in the first place.
-Ensure that everything is signed! I forgot to sign one form, and had to send it to my spouse separately, causing a few days delay in filing the application.
