Hi all

I'm sure this question has been asked a hundred times before so sorry for it but I wasn't able to find a good answer.

When looking into the application time we (Me Danish, Wife Canadian living in Denmark) was under the impression that it would take 12-18 months when applying through London, but when looking at some people's processing times it looks like it could go as fast as six months, is this right?

This would of course affect our decision on when to apply since we would have to plan our move to Canada much faster then.

I can't say a whole lot about outland timeline however only to say the timeline listed on website tends to be over exaggerated, usually for worst case scenarios (lots of red flags).

From what I have gathered from members who have landed through London, tends to land a lot quicker than what is listed for London timeline.

Re: Timeline

The latest stats for London (July 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013) are below:

Percentage of applications completed in less than or equal to the number of months below:

20% - 6 months
30% - 7 months
50% - 8 months
70% - 9 months
80% - 10 months

1276 applications in that period, 98% approval rate.

Re: Timeline

Thanks for the quick and very good answers.

Hello,

There is a thread for those who are applying through outland London here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/thread-for-outland-london-uk-applications-t49436.12660.html

There is also a timeline (which is linked in my signature below the post) which gives the average processing from members on here through the London office. For me it took just over 6 months through the London office, and this was with a few complications.

As Screech said above, the numbers on the website are a bit exaggerated, especially if you have a straight forward case!

We were completed in 5 months from date of application to CPC-M via London. (OK, so they screwed up at the last moment...)
