Hey all, I applied online(biometrics was done prior) for my in-laws second time on March 14 for Visitor Visa. If anyone else applied around the same time please share your timelines. Current application status is under review. Also is there any delay because of Covid-19 outbreak in processing application or or second time applications usually takes longer time?

Normally processing takes anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. You should certainly expect processing to take longer right now due to COVID.

Note that even if the visa is approved, they will not be able to travel to Canada at this time due to the travel ban. Right now the travel ban is in place until the end of June.

Yes - that's an estimated processing time only and it's not unusual for processing to take a few months.

Only immediate family members of Canadians are allowed to travel to Canada right now on TRVs. The immediately family member definition only includes spouses and dependent children. Right now this ban is in place until June 30. So if your inlaws are approved, they will have to wait until July or later to travel (unless the ban is lifted earlier than announced).
