Timeline for Pr Applications - Refugee / Protected persons

Hello Everyone,
I am happy to advise you that I have been recently granted permanent resident status. Please find my timeline below:
1) We received your application for permanent residence on June 23, 2011.
2) We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 19, 2014.
3) We started processing your application on March 31, 2015.
4) We sent you correspondence on March 31, 2015 about the decision on your application.
5) We sent you a letter on March 31, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
6) We sent you medical instructions on April 7, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
7) Medical results have been received.
8) A decision has been made on your application. You will be contacted soon.
Around mid-night of September 20, 2015, my ECAS application status changed from "In process" to "Decision Made". On September 25, I received an email from CIC regarding an interview to finalize my application at Kitchener office on Oct 9, 2015. I was granted the COPR the same day.
I wish everyone their best of luck who are struggling through this process. I know it is hard and overwhelming. What i learnt from all this experience is to be patient. It is a wait game. Just keep your hopes high and you will for sure see this day.
