time of process after submitted updated documents in Malaysia

Hi all,
I have applied for permenent residence for canada as skilled worker category on feb 2007.
and i recently i have submitted all requested documents (PCC, IELTS, FORMS, Passport, civil documents, proof of funds) in july 2009. i want to know how long it will be needed to process my case?

Seems pretty soon. from what I hear here its about 3 to 6 months.

i Heard the process is slow down because of the current resession. is it true?
