I went for interview (third week of sept 06) and was told that I need to submit marriage certificate, fees, FBI report and medicals before they can approve. I have done all except the marriage certificate. My partner won´t be able to come to the u.s. before mid january 2007 (because of the university exams and work etc.) to get marriage done. Since I have not been explicitly told or given a letter asking me to submit the documents before a deadline, how much time do I get before they say the time is up? and do they give me a warning in writing? Thanks for any suggestions.
