Time between Getting Visa and Landing In Canda

I have just got an ITA and am about to submit my visa application.

I was wondering if anyone knows how long I have to enter Canada once my visa application is completed. Everyone I read online says its a year from when my medicals are completed however I am submitting my visa application with my upfront medicals already done so I am not sure.

The reason I ask is that I would need to give notice at my current place of work and might need to wait a couple of months before leaving the UK.

It is one year from the date of your medicals, whether you did it upfront or not.
