Hello,

1) I opened a bank account at April, and deposited almost $11.000 CAD, now I am waiting for the 4 months to pass for the account and then apply... is this the right thing to do for now? -> "regarding the financial thing"

2) In the meanwhile, I am collecting my required docs., but from where I will apply, CIC website says that, the processing time for visa is 5 weeks, does it mean only 5 weeks? or there will be long time before the process, then visa will be processed?

3) Can I send medicals when applying for visa? or I should not send the medicals until I hear from the Canadian embassy?

Regards,

You didn't specify your country.

Regards,
1. Your bank account should have 1st year tuition fee + 13000 CAD. Your bank account should be stable for the past 4 months.
2. The processing time of 5 weeks is an average time. This is approximate processing time only. Some applications take longer to process for various reasons.
3. No, you can not perform upfront medical examination.

Would it matter?
it's Iraq

Yes, your country name was required for answering the 3rd question.

@ harith

well yes, unfortunately or fortunately, the country matters. since u r from Iraq ur visa office will be Jordan. Every visa office has its own processing times, own delay tactics, own requirements, many times own specific forms.

For example, im originally from PK but residing in Kuwait so my visa office is Abu Dhabi, thus different processing times, diff application requirements etc etc.

for ur case u can refer to the link

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/jordan-jordanie/visas/study-apply_demande-etude.aspx?view=d

I've doubt that applying for a student visa in Aug (i.e when ur 4 months will end) for course that's starting in september (assuming) is not a smart call. from April to Aug most of the canadian visa offices are busy processing student visas so they take more than the usual time.

for ur specific points i think inam and others can comment in detail.

@ inam

keep up the good work
