Hi,

I'm a PR since the 80's but for family reasons my family decided to go back to take care of my grandmother that died in 2010.
A couple of years ago I decided to come back with my wife (regular working permit) and my young child with a visitor record.
After applying by mistake for a PR card and thanks to you withdrawing the application that was accepted now I'm over the 730 days and I would like to sponsor my family. ( I've received the RQ/determination of status, and after that I decided to withdraw)

Any recommendation ?
Should I wait to apply more days?
Should I attached supporting documentation proving my establishment in Canada or this could ring a bell?
Should I request the CBSA a list of entry and exit to make sure I have the requirements?

Thanks for now, and thanks to help people that is looking for a better life and often for our kids future!

My last doubt, do you think officers read your posts and start personal investigations?

Best,

So to confirm, you have now satisfied the 2-in-5 years requirement? If so then just renew your PR card, and the go ahead and apply to sponsor your family. I would not apply until you have your new/valid PR card.

And if you are currently residing in Canada, there is no need to include anything about establishment in Canada since you are already here.

No - absolutely not. There aren't enough of them to handle our applications nevermind troll around on the web looking for forum posts and trying to match them to applications.
