I still haven't gotten the visa for the September intake nor have I booked any tickets.

The price as of date from Mumbai is pushing 85K rupees + to Toronto :(

What airline would you be using. Been looking myself and I can see flights with KLM for around 68000 rupees. Air travel is a lot, but my biggest concern would be the visa itself. If it hasn't arrived by the end of next week, I think you will need to defer until the winter.

Oh cool, if they extend the start date then it would be easier to get over the jetlag.

which college have you applied for and course?

srry u misunderstood me....I m goin to centennial and here is da link which I found in da college website, followed by da mail which I got in my mail:
http://www.centennialcollege.ca/eventcalendar/Events/Details3.aspx?EventID=3249

Please be advised that due to the on-going labour dispute, the deadline date for accepting new students into a program starting this September has been extended by one week to September 17. This date has been approved by the Vice-President of Academics keeping student academic performance in mind. History has shown that the later a student starts class the higher the probability that they will be put on academic probation (and potentially academic suspension the following semester).

Please notify your applicants who are still waiting for their Study Visas of the above. New offer letters WILL NOT be issued as we have been requested to inform the CIC in New Delhi of the extended deadline date.
