I've seen it mentioned on here that medicals and police clearance certificates must not be more than 3 months old by the time CIC gets them.

I haven't seen mention of this anywhere on the CIC website, can someone point me in the right direction please?

Medical is good for 12 months. Police certificates are good I think for 12 as well but they shouldn't be older than 3 months when they receive them

That's my understanding, maybe someone can confirm?

Police Certificate:
the link below states that:-
"The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply."
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp

Immigration Medical Exam:
a) the link below states that:-
"Your medical exam results are valid for 12 months only. If you do not come to Canada as a permanent resident within that time, you may need to have another exam."
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

b) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/assess/index.asp

Thank you for the link. I didn't dig deep enough.
