for a family of three.
cic's required funds is $18,260, the last time i checked the website.

the bank cert submitted on our profile had bout $22,000 CAD. (the money is our country's currency but is equivalent to $22K)

I had to use a little portion of it just recently.

the money on the acct is now down to $19,958 CAD.

would this be an issue or it's cool since I still have enough of the required $18,260 by CIC?

appreciate your thoughts on this.

As long as you have the minimum required funds equivalent to Canadian dollars you are good to go. I emphasize the equivalency as changes foreign exchange can creep up on you. Having a bit of a buffer to cover these fluctuations is important.

thanks for the insight. it had me thinking for a while Lol.
yes i guess i have more than enough to cover in case the foreign exchange rate changes.

1 CAD is equivalent to around 35 on our money as we speak.

i still have around $19,942 to be exact at this current exchange rate of 35 to 1 CAD.
even if it reaches 38 to 1 CAD = there still a little buffer.
once i get ITA (hopefully), i can eventually put it all back.... =)
