Finally I recieved today a letter requested my passport
they said I am PR GUARANTED
I send it via DHL This afternoon
let's celebrate
inland aplication 8 months
We are booking one cruise for Bahamas and Cancun (my Mexico)
love feel my fredom again!!!

It sounds like it to me From what I gather with Inland Applications CIC only request your passport if you are about to get your PR

If you live in Newfoundland, PEI, Quebec, Labrador and Yukon today was not a Civic Holiday...I thought there was no mail today too but I think we got mail in Ontario..

I'm not positive but I thought that inland applicants just receive a letter scheduling the landing interview - not a passport request. I didn't think they send a passport request for inland aps because you just take your passport to the landing interview (within Canada) to get your PR.

"Passport requests" are the routine for outland applicants - where they have to send their passport to the overseas embassy that's processing their application so that they can get their COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence). The embassy then sends the passport back, with the COPR in it, and the applicant takes that to a Canadian port of entry for "landing".

Either way - Congrats! ;D
