Even after reading this article a couple of times, I can't quite figure out what happened here - but other than maybe misdirecting some paperwork to the couple's lawyer, instead of to the applicant . . . I don't see the big deal. And thousands of dollars?? Where?? The only thing that's clear to me is that the reporter has no clue how immigration works, or what's important about the story.

But if they are looking for stories about couples/families surviving an immigration ordeal - I've got one that'll knock their socks off!!

Just looking at Robsluv's timeline (which scares the hell out of me) makes me second that!

My timeline is only the half of it!! Yes, someday it will all come out - even if I have to write a book!! But not 'til I'm landed - which should be this weekend!! Hooray!! ;D

i just got a job.. starting in february!!. i will save for when i land!!!... will take a loonnng vacation and party like crazy!. you deserve to have a party!.
