Hello my boss gave me a noc code off his records and i think it maybe the wrong one im a Horse groomer the noc says 8253 on the labor market opinion from last year but it says i fall under 8252 but i used what was on his files will my application be returned that and the fact he did not add any duties in his letter i just hope they will work it out and not send any thing back dose any one have any advice?

If your boss did not specify your duties in LOE, you will probably run into difficulties/delays/extra reviews later...

Thank you for your answer if they ask for more i will send in more my boss is pretty cool like that luckily

so the truth is :

if you have closed type work permit with LMO 8253

but you boss say you are working as 8252 .

then it is definitely wrong. and will be rejected.

because you work illegally, your work experience you applied can't be considered by VO.

you have to ask your boss admit that signed a wrong reference letter to update a new one to CIC.

just my opinion. I hope I am wrong.

Well the lmos always say that im 8253 but when i get to the officers that deal with work permit they give me 8252 but under that number there are people who do what i do i just sent in an official labor market opinion to show thats where the 8253 comes from and that my boss has all the records of applying under that number so i added that to my application and sent a copy of my work permit and lmo and a letter signed by my boss stating the number he always applies for me under how ever it would seem he didnt add any duties to the letter so they might request more info do you guys think that they will think something is wrong here even though i submitted all the evidence to prove my case ?

could you short your sentence as facts to let others to read it easily. if you try to let others help you.

e.g

so in your LMO it is 8253,

but on your work permit it is 8252 .

your reference letter is 8253 ?

and your reference letter have no duties.

I know what you can do : ideally , you should update your work permit and told them they made a mistake as your LMO. they write wrong NOC for your work permit. ( I saw many people updated it successfully )

you need update your reference letter. if you can't. before you send your application.

you need give explanation letter why your reference letter have no duties. or else it will be rejected . because they will not check a letter which is not qualified. when you can't explain it too .

in short: you can have not duties, but you need some "evidence" about why you can't get them from your HR or Boss.

ok thank you for the advice and i already sent it with all my information in it and my employer said it was ok and if they call him he will explain but yes you are right my work permit is 8252 but lmo says 8253 and all this info is in my application with a letter of reference from my employer and a copy of the contract i signed and lmo as well

I think the problem would be you have no duties. this is vital .

Oh i understand what you are saying i will ask my employer to write up a letter if they ask for additional info do you think that would help ?

you can check the CEC checklist doc requirement : the duties should be listed.

the rule is : if anything you can't supply, you need explain in the application.

they won't ask for more files, they only assess your case based on material you supplied .

only in one situation they will call your boss or contact you, it is, "doubt the reality of your material "

so for your case, I only saw rejection result in this forum.

you shouldn't relax now, you need update your reference letter now to the CIC by mail . if your updated letter still can't have duties. you need an explanation letter from your boss or HR , and mail it to CIC.

the explanation letter can just give simple directly reason for them .

in that way , they may contact your manager or HR.

or else , they won't , as I said, "CIC only check a case based on material you supplied" they don't and won't ask for extra doc . it is reasonable for them , there are thousands of applications, if they ask if you have any other support doc for your case for all of them . it would be a nightmare, they can't moving forwarding anything.

Oh thank you i will send one as soon as possible i will call and request one right away and send it off before weeks end hopefuly
but how do i say that it is an update ?

Yes, it is an update for your reference letter . you need give all the information to make the guy in CIC can easily find your previous application and merge together before it is charged and sent to certain VO .

notes: explanation letter must be signed by your boss or HR . or else it can't prove anything. they can just reject to use it as reference.

why duties matter? there are lots of case failed for duties doesn't match the NOC. just based on this, you should aware how important it is. ( you can review more posts in this forum to get this conclusion )

and you can think in VO's angle, if there is no duties, how to prove the work experience you have got is the NOC you claimed. how the VO know what you have worked in CA. if they don't know that part, the one year work experience can't be effective.

Oh so i cant send it in and tell them the first one was missing some information and this one is an update ?

you can , if you need update previous one, then you should tell them abandon the previous one.

if you just provide a new one and want merge together, then ask them merge.

that is not the key, just make it clear.

the key is , the guy of CIC can easily do as you said and in time.

actually, no one can guarantee it will be in time or not, really depends on if you are enough lucky, some people in this forum updated successfully, some get returned.

so some people recently aware this maybe the last CEC chance for them, they even submit a new application repeatedly before the old one get return. in this way, if the old one get returned unfortunately. the later one will arrive in CIC office before Jan , 1 2015.

Ok thank you so much i will do so as soon as possible before any thing goes wrong i applied this months application arrived about 17th so i will try and get to them before any thing goes wrong with the first one should i send it express to the same place ?
