THEFT..at APARTMENT..:(-------PLEASE ADVICE

I HAD A THEFT IN MY APARTMENT>>>AND THE THEIF TOOK ALL MY LEGAL DOCUMENTS>>>PASSPORT>>VISA>>CANADIAN DOCUMENTS..I FILED FOR PR. AS WELL AS MY LETTERS THAt I GOTT FROM CANADIAN CONSULATE GENERAL SEATTLE & NEW YORK.

I AM WORRIED WHAT I SHOULD DO NEXT WHILE MY STATUS IS IN PROCESS...!!!!!! AND WAS JUST WAITING FOR MY PASSPORT..!!!!!!

Oh dear.... U please inform ur VO office about it n file a police complaint immediately...send a letter briefing them about the theft along with the police complaint....

Oh god thats a big blow,i feel extremely sorry.
All u can do is inform police, lodge written complaint with them.submit the copy to concerned pp office and apply for new one.
In the mean time send VO the copy of written complaint with attestation from police officer along with explanation copy abt the incident.u need to proove VO that ur case is genuine.
There might b delays but all will b fine.

don't worry my friend.. make a new passport n inform the VO about the incident with new passport photocopies and copy of ur police complaint ..

CIC Canada sent us the BAR CODES of our FILE NUMBER and said that while communicating to the Visa Office we need to use those BarCodes.

Since the theft happened in my Apartment and I lost those BARCODES along with my PASSPORT>..I Was wondering...Once I am issued a New Passport (with a New Passport Number) ...How do I request them to send me the BARCODES OF MY FILE NUMBER. ALSO, HOW TO UPDATE THE SEATTLE CONSULATE FOR THE CHANGE OF ADDRESS AND CHANGE OF PASSPORT NUMBER...ETC.

PLEASE ADVICE.

File a case at the police. Get a police copy of the incident complain.

With the complain inform the VO about the incident and the lost passport number and other relevant details.

Apply for passport and proceed. Hope no problem arises again. Please keep us informed. We are always their to give our maximum in every possible manner.
