I'm so glad I came across this forum when I was looking for some direction as to how the heck I can get the Canadian PR, a year and half ago. I cannot thank enough all those our friends and comrades over here who patiently responded to my queries (at times really silly ones!) and guided me through this laborious journey.

Now I'm at the last step! Travelling to Toronto tomorrow for soft landing. I hope I'm well prepared with all the bases covered but wanted our expert's final validation, just to be sure, especially the docs that I'm supposed to carry.

Documents I'm carrying:
  • 3 passports (mine, my wife's and my son's)
  • 3 COPRs (originals)
  • 2 photographs each (both 50x70 and 35x45)
  • Balance certificate from ICICI bank showing POF (~21K CAD)
  • 3 flight tickets
  • 2 sets of Xerox copies of all the above documents

Since we plan to stay there only for a couple of days, I'm not carrying too many items/articles except for basic clothing. So I'm not sure if I still need to prepare the list of items. Any responses to this post would be greatly appreciated!

Fill out the BSF186 form for goods (and the BSF186a form for any goods to follow). This will allow those items to enter Canada tax free, even at a later date. Electronics should be itemized with serial numbers, as well as high value items. Bulk items like clothes can be grouped (I.e. A box of clothing).

Thank you! Buletruck Where do I find these forms?
 
Thank you again Buletruck. "Items to Follow" does it mean the items that I carry in my subsequent trips? I'm not planning to get any items separately as cargo or shipment
