The Inland waiting game

After reading many posts about the sudden pause in updates from CIC, regarding Inland applications, I wanted to offer some very simple advice:

As long as the current `wait time' has NOT exceeded whatever the wait time was when you submitted your application...chill out! Personally, my wait was estimated to be 11 months, so ANYTHING shorter than that will be a bonus for me, because 11 months is what I `signed up for'!


Now, would I like to see my application processed faster...absolutely, but I refuse to let negativity about a process ,that I have absolutely no control over...attract more negativity towards me. Remember...we attract what we think about, so start thinking about the positive side of this whirlwind adventure.

Now...get outside and burn off some of that pent-up angst!

I think that not the waiting, but the unpredictability is the worst. But we can always think of that at least we can be with our spouses. It could be much worse if we would be waiting in different countries.
