Hi all,
I have sent my application for immigration to Canada from CHC Singapore with simplified form in 2007, and here's my situation.
Currently I just got enrolled in a graduate school in Singapore and my current stipend does not allow me to save much money, hence i can't save up money and i have to take some money from my savings, for several years. I might have to dig in longer if i go for PhD.
When the Canadian High Commission starts processing my application in 4 years time (according to the expected timeline as stated in the acknowledgement letter) and sends me a new complete form to fill in, they will request a proof of funds.
-For the proof of funds, does it mean it has to be a bank statement with a 6 months record from the day that they request the new form to be filled?
This is an issue for me since my savings is expected to be lower than the minimum required amount (10k Canadian dollars).
-Also has there been cases where they reject applicants just because they are still in non-northamerican graduate school?
I have made calculations in my score points...it's adequate at 68 cut-off point....but what i am worried is my inadequate funds.
Please advise...thanks!
