hi everyone. I got visa for jan 2013 under general cat. would like to thank everyone who have been helping others including me by clearing our doubts. I really appreciate them for sharing there valuable knowledge with us. N putting in there time n energy. I have never posted any thing before but i have been a silent member of this forum n im really thankful. So ones again thank u.

i applied for visa on 09th oct at VFS mumbai got my passport today ie 18th oct with the visa from 16/10/2012 till 30/03/2015.

Profile:-
age-32
10th - 59% (ICSE) year 1996
12th - 76% (NIOS) science year 2003
B.com - 63% (annamalai university distance education) year 2011
IELTS - overall 7 (L 8, R 7.5, W 6, S 7.5)
paid 1st sem fee
loan 9 lacs from federal bank against FD of 10 lacs
showed 12 lacs cash in parents A/c
also gave ITRs of both father n mother (total income 5 lacs for the last finacial year)
N the sale agreement to show the source of 20 lacs

college- Lambton College Sarnia Ontario
2 years Business management PG certi. course

P.S. mentioned my age n the years to show that gaps.
I want all those people who have the same doubts, do not feel dis-hearted just make sure u take care of those things which is in ur
hands N SOP should be very strong N N N leave the rest to almighty.

you are newbie here. you need to do 10/20 post minimum to get privileges to send pm
 
this is truly a remarkable achievement buddy....
Everyone says (including top consultants) that
1-after age 30 forget student visa
2-if you have more than 5 years Gap , then visa chances are very rare
3-if you have studied through correspondence or distance mode , its not considered for student visa application.

And you are a perfect example of proving them wrong.

Once again congratulations and hope you are doing well after your 2nd semester.
