I am a special skilled professional and recently got offered by a company in Ontario for which they had applied the LMIA, WP and Temporary Resident Visa. All were positive and got my Visa stamped and awaiting to join them in September.
The employer informed that I will have to fend for myself for the PR as they will not apply for the PR until the WP validity period (2 years) gets completed being a small organization and my recruitment being their first experience. They will support me in the process regarding any documentation related to the PR application but I will have to bear the costs.
I would like to know the process to convert the TFW visa to a PR. Can I do it in the near future (next 2-3 months)? Will I need to get the LMIA processed all over again by my employer to change the visa?
Is there any exemption in the Express entry program for such situation?
What are the options I have towards achieving the PR at the earliest without looking out for another employer?
