AOR Received.
05/05/2017
Hi there,

I sent my application last Friday to CPC-M and it arrived at the mailroom Monday past, I just recieved a text from IRCC confirming they have received my application for family class sponsorship and that I'll get a letter from IRCC when processing begins.

What should I expect from now?

Principal applicant will receive an Acknowledgement of Receipt letter in their email in 3-4 weeks.

Okay so the AOR takes around 2-4 weeks to be sent out, after the AOR arrives how long after that until we find out if the sponsor passed the eligibility stage

With all due respect, you should try to relax a bit. Of the 22 posts that you've made thus far, the majority seem to be asking questions about how long things take.

The sad truth is that some people never even get an official AOR. Some never get AIP and a few have never gotten DM (officially) and only find out that they've been approved when they get their landing interview email, or their COPR document if they applied Outland. There is no rhyme or reason as to how/why CIC does what they do.

Since you at least have a text message, confirming that your application has been received, that's good news. As long as your application is not returned, because it is deemed incomplete, the date that you received the text message will, in essence, by your AOR date.

Okay thank you for letting me know, just nervous as is everyone probably about their application
