Hi ...I have been working as a post doc researcher in Canada for just over two years. I am just about to go on maternity leave and will not be returning to work after, but will be staying in Canada. My husband has an open work permit, off the back off mine, and is currently working and will continue to be working in Canada for as long as possible. My visa ends in February next year. What is the best route we could take in terms of applying for permanent residency? Any advice appreciated - thanks in advance.
