Please help, my husband's employer advised us that we cannot have a flight ticket from Philippines to Canada with a working visa, and was asked to do cross country. I am still here in Saudi Arabia and working as a nurse. is it possible if i can invite them here as tourists and have their visas be released in a canadian embassy here? And can we also exit from here going to Canada? Thanks.

I don't understand why your employer is saying you can't travel from the Philippines. This doesn't make sense. Are you sure the job is real and you aren't being scammed?
Because the PH immigration will require them to have an OEC. This is a rule in the PH immigration if they saw that you have a working visa. It is something they think of to protect the workers (they have to undergo a legit recruitment agency). You will need to pay around $1,600 to have an OEC from those agencies.
The employer doesn't want them to fly from the PH because they want to avoid this inconvenience. They should fly directly from Saudi.
