Temporary work permit letter for employer

Hello,

My open work permit expired on 28th Feb. I got my AOR on 27th March, I did apply for BOWP the same day. When can I expect to get my temporary work permit letter for my employer? As my company is ready to rehire me with that letter.

Yes, I have a valid TRV which keeps me on a maintained status. When can I expect to get that letter as it's bit urgent for me to get the job? Can I try calling IRCC?

The valid TRV does not give you implied status. You would have fallen out of status when your work permit expired unless you applied for a visitor record before your work permit expired.
