Temporary Transit Visa Application from Within Canada - Foreign Worker

Hi!

I was hoping someone here could help me out with this... It has happened to me several times that the processing times given in CIC's website for temporary TRV applications within Canada don't match reality. Can someone who applied in September-October for a TRV, with a work permit (or student), let me know how long it took for CIC to process their paper application?

Dont trust on given times. I sent my paper application on Oct 14/13. It shows they received on Oct 18/2013.And i'm still waiting to get my passport back.
